• Number of people are in the portal prior to accessing the reader or scanner
• Detect when the person to be scanned or read is in the correct location.

If an attempt is made to access a portal by more than the prescribed number of people Larco's Dual Active Mat System can signal:

• Portal control circuitry to deactivate the scanning device(s).
• Initiate a lock down of the portal.
• Notify security personnel of a violation.
• Begin video surveillance of the portal and surrounding areas.
