New USB Kiosk Mat for Kiosk Security

Larco Manufacturing, the leading U.S. supplier of Automatic Door
Mats, Handicap Wall Switches, and Industrial Safety Mats today announced that is
has released a new USB Kiosk Security Mat product.
Larco’s USB Kiosk Security Mat eliminates unattended unauthorized access to a
kiosk using a pressure sensitive Mat, which is connected to a computer using a
standard USB cable. Located on the
floor in front of a kiosk, users must step on the mat to activate the system
before log on is possible. Once a
user steps off, Larco’s USB Kiosk mat automatically logs the user off and
requires the proper credentials to log back into the system.
This unique system prevents sensitive information from remaining on a
computer screen for others to view.
Kiosks utilizing Larco’s new product are commonly used in places such as banks,
hospitals, hotels, human resource stations, or anywhere kiosk information
security is a concern.
The introduction of the Larco USB Kiosk Mat simplifies the computer link by
utilizing the common Plug and Play USB connection.
It can also work with existing security, and has an energy saving
feature. The mat is waterproof, and
if offered in four standard sizes as well as four different finishes.
The product is also available in custom colors and sizes.
