Ultra-Small Transmitters, Receivers Offer Improved Features, Performance
January 12, 2004
Larco, a leading manufacturer of automatic door
activation and safety products, has developed revolutionary new transmitters and
receivers designed for compatibility with virtually all automatic door operators
and control devices.
The ultra-small transmitters measure 1.25” x
0.875” x 0.25” and the receivers measure 2.25” x 1.25” x 0.75”, making
them the smallest and most versatile on the market. Their ultra-small size and
excellent range makes it easy to locate the receiver inside the header,
maintaining the clean architectural lines of the installation and reducing
vandalism.
In addition to size benefits, the new transmitter and
receiver units offer an improved signal range. The self-learning receiver unit
offers millions of code variations for increased security and eliminates
dipswitch settings. Receiver relays can be programmed for momentary contact
output or to latch up until a second activation is received. The momentary
contact output also is adjustable from one second to four hours, and the
receiver can memorize codes from up to 12 different transmitters. The units are
factory pre-wired so installation is as easy as attaching the battery and
pushing the programming buttons. Both
units operate at a 433 MHz frequency for use worldwide. The new transmitters and
receivers have undergone rigorous testing and are FCC, Industry Canada and CE
certified.
Larco’s new transmitter and receiver units are
designed for use with Larco’s shallow profile universal wall switch and jamb
switch box assemblies. When combined, these two new products become the
smallest, most space efficient and most durable wireless automatic door control
devices available.
